A citizen of Belarus, who also held a passport of another country, tried to use it to leave Belarus for Lithuania. However, Belarusian citizens must use only national documents when crossing the state border, states the State Border Committee.

For the violation, the girl was fined and not allowed to cross the border.
Another Belarusian citizen, who lives in Canada, was entering Belarus from Lithuania. She presented a passport to border guards whose validity had expired almost two years ago. As a result, her document was confiscated, and the woman herself was fined.
