Driving school curricula may be changed to reduce the number of accidents involving new drivers.

This was discussed at a meeting of the Standing Commission on Road Safety under the Council of Ministers.

It is proposed to increase the number of practical training hours in driving schools, use interactive training simulators, and teach actions in extreme situations.

The meeting also discussed accidents caused by wild animals entering roads. Such accidents most often occur from Saturday to Monday.

To reduce them, various engineering means will be more actively used to prevent animals from entering the roadway. These include mesh fences and deterrence systems (light, sound, laser). More warnings for drivers are also planned.
