Yesterday it was reported that Ihar Stankevich, a well-known researcher of Stalinist repressions in the Orsha region, had his Minsk apartment searched. The search was conducted by 5-6 people, including KGB officers.

Stankevich's acquaintances were asked about the "Nation of Leaders" initiative, which organizes online courses in various fields – from civic activism to compiling one's own family tree, writes "Vitebskaya Vesna".

Later, Ihar Stankevich learned that searches in Minsk had been conducted on at least three more people, and KGB officers visited not only their apartments, but also the apartments of their relatives or close ones.

They were interested in the same thing: involvement in the "Nation of Leaders" initiative.

In October 2024, the "extremist formation "Order"" appeared on the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) website in the list of "extremist formations". Several neighborhood chats were mentioned there, but as internet resources through which "extremist activity" is allegedly carried out, the corresponding KGB decision mentioned the "Nation of Leaders" website, the "Nation of Leaders" Telegram channel and Telegram chat, the "Nation of Leaders Online Hub" YouTube channel, and "Nation of Leaders" pages on Instagram and Facebook.
