According to Fyodor Rymasheuski, the head of the enterprise, quality control is carried out continuously. For this purpose, two accredited laboratories operate, as well as technological laboratories at water intakes. Water is checked against more than 60 indicators, including microbiological, chemical, and radiological.
He noted that a small amount of scale in a kettle is a normal phenomenon and indicates the presence of minerals and salts essential for the body in the water. Therefore, a certain level of water hardness is considered not only acceptable but also beneficial.
In different districts of Minsk, water hardness may slightly vary depending on the water supply source. For example, in Kurasouschyna, this indicator is slightly above five degrees, and in the Zavodski district, it is about four degrees. However, all values are within the established norm.
Residents can obtain information about water quality and hardness for a specific address on the Minskvodokanal website. This data can be useful when setting up washing machines, dishwashers, and coffee machines.
