Logger died in Chechersk district
The accident happened yesterday, June 22.
A 59-year-old worker of Babitska forestry was felling trees. Around 12:00, the man cut down a tree, which, upon falling, caught a dead tree, and a broken top branch fell on him. The man died from his injuries.
An investigative and operational group worked at the scene. An inspection of the scene was carried out by an investigator with the participation of specialists from the State Committee for Forensic Expertise.
A chainsaw, helmet, headphones, and a safety instruction log were found, the Investigative Committee reported.
