In Postavy District, Driver Collided with a Moose on the Road
The incident occurred on June 14 at 18:50 on the 134th kilometer of highway R45, reported the Traffic Police Department of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee.
A driver born in 1981, behind the wheel of a Rover car, was driving in the direction of Postavy. Everything was fine, but suddenly a moose ran onto the road.
The car collided with the wild animal, and then swerved into a ditch and overturned.
In this accident, the female driver and her 15-year-old son were injured, both were taken to the hospital. The moose died.
