In Kobryn, road services asphalted Builders' Lane. It turned out to be only on paper
The State Control Committee of Brest region reviewed an appeal from Kobryn residents regarding the condition of the road surface on Builders' Lane and confirmed that the real situation differs greatly from what was depicted on paper.

Previously, in responses from the local district executive committee, it was stated that almost the entire roadway of the lane (about 400 meters out of 540) had an asphalt concrete surface and was in satisfactory condition.
However, photographic materials sent by the applicants to the SCC indicated that the actual condition of the road did not correspond at all to these statements. This was also confirmed by the commission that visited the site directly.
Following the intervention of the SCC, work was carried out on Builders' Lane to resurface the roadway with asphalt granulate.

For improper handling of the appeal, responsible officials of the district executive committee and the utility enterprise were held accountable.
