Zelenskyy called the massive attack on St. Petersburg a response to the refusal to end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine
"It's time to end this war. But the Russian leader wants to fight. That's why Ukrainian sanctions for this aggression are working," the President of Ukraine wrote in his Telegram channel.
"Last night, our drones covered a distance of about 1000 kilometers to the St. Petersburg region — to the enemy's naval arsenals and the base in Kronstadt. Also, our long-range sanctions flew about 500 kilometers to the Krasnodar region and struck an oil depot. Important results of the joint work of the warriors of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
Russia needs to end its war and stop striking at life. Any manifestations of injustice against Ukraine will receive a just response. Thank you to our warriors for their accuracy," Zelenskyy wrote.
