"A pleasant coma for immigrants in Poland is guaranteed."

This story sounds like pure fiction for any immigrant in Poland, but it actually happened. Belarusian blogger Ksenia Kislyak shared the story of her friends on social media.

As Ksenia recounts, after four years of living in one of Warsaw's apartments, a Belarusian couple decided to move to new housing. As is often the case among our compatriots, they left the apartment in perfect condition — even better than when they moved in, Ksenia says.

But the real surprise awaited them. The kaucja (deposit) was returned in full. Ksenia writes that this was the first such case among her acquaintances. For many expats in Poland, this is already a rare success.

But then — even more. The money was returned not just like that, but with interest! As it turned out, the landlord, a Pole named Artur, didn't just put the money in a drawer four years ago, but placed the deposit in a bank account.

As a result, the Belarusians received the full amount back together with interest — a total of 7100 zlotys.

And he didn't keep the interest for himself, but gave all the money back. "Am I dreaming or what?" — Ksenia comments.

The reaction on social media was unanimous: such a case and such a landlord are "one in a million."
