Italy proved to be the most generous in issuing visas. In 98.9% of cases, Belarusians received multiple-entry visas, the European Commission reported .

Moreover, this country issued the largest number of visas in total — 50,176. Before this, Germany held the leadership for two years. In 2025, it came in second place — 37,692, with over 90% of applicants receiving a multiple-entry visa.

Further on, the gap in numbers is quite large: 16,280 visas from Poland — about 80% multiple-entry visas, 9,874 from France (single-entry visas were received by slightly less than 30% of applicants) and 8,762 visas from Hungary (more than 60% of applicants will be able to enter the Schengen area multiple times thanks to them).

Romania, Slovakia, and Bulgaria were the least willing to issue multiple-entry Schengen visas — less than 40% of applicants received them.

The refusal rate last year was quite low — 2.3%, with 3,652 applicants remaining without a visa.

Most visa refusals came from Germany (1,131 refusals), Poland (865), France (597), and Lithuania (464).
