Lukashenka announced readiness to visit Kyiv
Alexander Lukashenka commented on recent statements by Volodymyr Zelenskyy that Russians are preparing a new attack against Ukraine from Belarusian territory.

Lukashenka categorically denies that plans to attack Ukraine from Belarus are being prepared — he claims they are only possible if Ukrainians start first:
«Regarding his statements that Belarus will be dragged into the war, I just said: it will be dragged in only in one case — if aggression is committed against our territory. And here it’s not just involved (you heard from the President of Russia) — we will jointly defend our Motherland from Brest to Vladivostok, where the two states are located,» said Alexander Lukashenka.
Therefore, if we are involved in the war, including if it is against Ukraine, it will be only in one case — if they commit aggression against us. We are not going to get involved in the war in Ukraine. There is no necessity for this. Neither civilian nor military.»
At the same time, Lukashenka expressed readiness to meet with Volodymyr Zelenskyy at any time, and even to come to Ukraine for this purpose:
«If he wants to talk about something, consult, or anything else, please, we are open to it. In any place — Ukraine, Belarus — I am ready to meet with him and discuss the problems of Belarusian-Ukrainian relations. And, perhaps, talk about prospects. For some reason, we have something to talk about with Americans, Germans, Poles, Lithuanians, and Latvians, but with Ukraine, there is nothing...».
