Charnecki dismissed from post of Culture Minister while meeting with Tanzanian Ambassador

Culture Minister Ruslan Charnecki today met with Ibrahim Kibbut, the Ambassador of Tanzania to Russia and Belarus concurrently. Today it also became known that Charnecki has been dismissed.

Ruslan Charnecki is 44 years old. In 2010, he graduated from the correspondence department of the Belarusian State Academy of Arts with a specialization in "drama theater and film actor" (Zoya Belakhvostik's course).

Since 2005, he worked at the Maksim Gorky Theater, on television, specifically on ONT in "Nasha Ranitsa" (Our Morning). He also acts in films; in the film "Kupala," which was never released, he played Anton Lutskievich.

In 2024, he was elected as a deputy of the House of Representatives. He served as Minister of Culture since December 2024.

Marat Markaŭ, former Minister of Information, has been appointed as the new Minister of Culture.
