Katsiaryna Vadanosava to be tried in absentia for "justifying the genocide of the Belarusian people"
Special proceedings have been initiated against the poet, singer, and blogger Katsiaryna Vadanosava. She is charged under Part 3 of Article 130-1 of the Criminal Code (rehabilitation of Nazism) and Part 1 of Article 130-2 of the Criminal Code (justifying the genocide of the Belarusian people), writes "Viasna".

Vadanosava is invited to return to Belarus and report to the Pershamaiski District Department of Internal Affairs in Minsk.
Earlier, the Prosecutor General's Office initiated a criminal case against the woman for allegedly "rehabilitating Nazism" on YouTube.
According to the Investigative Committee, Katsiaryna, "in collusion with extremist formations," systematically publishes materials on YouTube allegedly aimed at "rehabilitating Nazism."
