Man died while working with a rototiller
The accident happened in Yelsk district at the end of September, reports the State Committee of Forensic Examinations.
The man was working in the garden. At some point, the rototiller with attached metal shovels got stuck.
The villager, without turning off the equipment, tried to fix the situation. As a result, the rototiller's blades caught the leg of his trousers, and his legs were clamped by the discs.
MES employees came to the aid of the victim. The man was freed from the trapped position, after which he was hospitalized to a healthcare facility, where he died.
Specialists recorded severe bodily injuries in the deceased, including separation of pelvic bones, torn wounds to the legs, and fractures of the bones of the left shin.
