In Frankfurt am Main, Germany, fans of Belarusian musician Max Korzh staged an unauthorized pyrotechnic show on the eve of his concert. Hessenschau reports this.
On Friday evening, on the Flößerbrücke bridge over the Main, the singer's fans simultaneously lit hundreds of red flares and sang songs in unison. The event was not coordinated with the authorities, the police confirmed to the publication.
Several police patrols arrived at the scene. According to the police, about 2,000 fans were loudly awaiting the concert late into the night.
Several individuals who, as the publication writes, "overdid it," were temporarily detained by the police.
Max Korzh's concert itself will take place on Saturday evening at a stadium in Frankfurt am Main.
