«It's hard to go from 'being in love' to 'letting go' within a week and without any warning, but sometimes that's just how things happen».
According to the woman, she wanted to give Musk a deep form of love and is confident that she 'was able to give him that', writes Bild.
According to several media outlets, Musk unfollowed Zilis on X. He has not yet commented on the separation. Zilis and Musk are not married; their relationship was more of a partnership with shared children.
«We were always his safe harbor. A place where we were all immensely happy to see him and where joy and love always prevailed, not struggle. I liked being this balanced place of security, calm, and love.
I will miss him terribly. I loved him more than my own life, and he gave me knowledge that would last a hundred lifetimes. He filled my life with such great meaning, and the loss is consequently immense», Zilis wrote.
She wishes that she and Musk can continue 'to be great friends and parents who will be there for our children together'. Her message concludes with conciliatory words:
«It hurts, but E [Elon] is still very dear to me, and I will always wish him happiness. God bless you, Elon. The world can consider itself lucky to have you».
Zilis met Musk while working at OpenAI, and later remained professionally connected with his companies.
In 2021, their first children together were born — twins Strider and Azure. In 2024, a daughter, Arcadia, was born, and in 2025, a son, Seldon Lycurgus. All children were conceived through in vitro fertilization.
During the same period, Musk also fathered children with Canadian singer Grimes and activist Ashley St. Clair.
In total, according to known information, the tech billionaire is the father of at least 13 children.
