Nepal's Prime Minister Spoke at the UN General Assembly Wearing Sunglasses

Nepal's Prime Minister Balendra Shah spoke at the UN General Assembly wearing dark sunglasses, which he has been wearing since his days of participating in rap battles, reports The New York Times.
Shah, known in the country as Balen, has been wearing dark glasses since his time as a rapper participating in rap battles in Nepal. After entering politics, he continued to appear in them at official events, parliamentary sessions, and military parades. Shah also appears in dark glasses in his official portrait.
Shah removes his glasses during government meetings and private engagements. In August, the Parliament Speaker stated that dark sunglasses would no longer be allowed during sessions of the House of Representatives.
However, the Prime Minister's office later reported that a doctor had recommended he use them to protect his eyes from bright light.
