Belarusian bus stopped in Poland, drivers issued 34 fines
A routine check of a Belarusian bus on the Polish expressway S7 (Gdynia-Chilonia — Rabka-Zdrój) ended with two drivers receiving 34 fines. The total amount of penalties was 6900 zlotys, which is approximately 5445 Belarusian rubles, writes the portal Lublin112.

Employees of the Polish Automatic Road Traffic Control Center (CANARD) stopped the bus with Belarusian license plates near the settlement of Giebułtów. Prior to this, inspectors checked the vehicle's registration number in the database and found several dozen previously recorded cases of speeding.
Two Belarusian citizens were taking turns driving the bus. After reviewing the materials from the control cameras, the inspectors determined which of them committed each violation.
As a result, the first driver was responsible for 15 instances of speeding. The total amount of his fines was 3000 zlotys, or about 2367 Belarusian rubles. The second driver committed 19 violations and received fines totaling 3900 zlotys, which is approximately 3077 Belarusian rubles.
Thus, the two drivers accumulated 34 fines for a total of 6900 zlotys. In addition to monetary penalties, they were collectively assigned 104 penalty points. In Poland, drivers accumulate points for traffic violations, and reaching a certain limit can lead to losing their driving license.
All recorded violations were related to exceeding the speed limits applicable to buses on expressways and motorways. Under the necessary technical conditions, the maximum permitted speed for buses on such roads in Poland can be 100 km/h.
Dozens of violations were discovered thanks to checking the bus's registration number in the CANARD database. After that, inspectors stopped the vehicle on the S7 and analyzed the materials for each episode. This allowed them to determine which of the two drivers was behind the wheel at the moment of each speeding incident.
