Maldives and Belarus signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption

It was previously reported that visa-free stays would be permitted for up to 30 days per trip. However, the total duration of stay without a visa must not exceed 90 days within a calendar year.

Belarus and the Maldives have signed an agreement on mutual visa exemption. This happened on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, during a meeting between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Maksim Ryzhenkov, and his counterpart from the Maldives, Iruthisham Adam.

The ministers also agreed to cooperate in the fields of education, training for the medical sector, tourism and recreation, and discussed supplies of Belarusian products, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reported.
