«Your passports, bank cards, bookings — in our hands». Hackers breached the website of popular tour operator Tez Tour
The Belarusian website of Tez Tour, one of the largest international tour operators, has been hacked. Hackers claim they downloaded the entire travel history of Belarusians.

Now, when you visit teztour.by, you see a black screen and a message that the company ceased to exist on September 15.
It is claimed that all servers have been compromised. And hackers from the DATASUCKERS group downloaded and destroyed:
- 45,398,685 booking records
- 21,515,914 tour orders
- 52,176,283 hotel bookings
- 252,300,000 financial transactions
In total, 395.5 million records were lost, as claimed by the hackers.
Hackers address Tez Tour clients and company administrators:
«Dear clients! Your passports, foreign passports, bank card data, phone numbers, addresses, etc. — are in our hands, and the company has no access to them. Everything has been deleted. Company administrators, you don't need to worry — it's impossible to restore the data: all your servers are completely taken over by us, the disks have been overwritten to exclude the possibility of recovery, and backups have been deleted. Just to get inside and figure things out, it will take you several days, considering your clumsiness, not to mention restoration. As they say… TEZ TOUR — IT'S OVER. The company is closed. Clients go f**k themselves.»
One of Nasha Niva's readers called the Tez Tour call center in Belarus. They replied that technical work was underway on the website and that everything would be working tomorrow. They urged not to worry about a data leak (which, supposedly, does not exist) and promised that it would soon be possible to book tours again.
This year is not the first time Tez Tour has faced problems in Belarus. In April, the Minsk Prosecutor's Office initiated a criminal case regarding tax evasion amounting to over 700 thousand rubles by an «organization engaged in travel agency activities.» As Zerkalo learned, this could be referring to the popular tour operator Tez Tour, familiar to many.
