It will be used for the first time this Sunday at the match "Dynamo" Minsk — "Dynamo" Brest.

Previously, this system was not used in the Belarusian championship, writes "Belarusian Football".

VAR is a video recording system for fouls or controversial moments, where a special team watches the match and, if such moments occur, signals the head referee to stop the game. This often leads to the cancellation of goals if they were scored in violation of the rules.

What does this system look like in Belarus? It's a converted Citroën minivan that will connect to OB van stations. All necessary information will be sent to servers, processed, and then displayed on monitors. A specially trained refereeing team will monitor them.

As stated during a press conference at the Belarusian Football Federation, the video replay system is planned to be used in one or two key matches of each championship round. 10 out of 15 stadiums in the Premier League are already ready to work with video replays. It is planned that 14 cameras will be used at the matches.

The "Dynamo derby" will take place on September 13 at the National Stadium in Minsk, starting at 20:10.
