Will Minsk continue to be actively developed with housing?
“We will continue housing construction in Minsk. Places are becoming fewer and fewer, so we are embarking on a large project to build the Zialiony Bor (Green Forest) district outside the ring road in the Partyzanski district. This project will provide for the construction of more than 4 million sq.m. of housing, but it will not be commercial, but for those in need, for people working in the social sphere, for large families. A large amount of rental housing is also planned to be built there.
The project will allow for the fulfillment of all social obligations of the Minsk City Executive Committee regarding housing construction for those in need over the next 10-12 years. Of course, we will also carry out individual construction of commercial housing,” said Vladimir Kukharev on the "First Information" channel.
In 2027, the "Minsk-Mir" (Minsk World) project will be completed in Minsk. The construction of "Paunočny Bierah" (North Bank) will continue.
