Serhii "Flash" Beskrestnov, a freelance advisor to the President of Ukraine on the development of technological defense areas, says that hundreds of Shahed jet drones bypass the direct route to Kyiv and stay along the border of Belarus for as long as possible. The main explanation is the attachment of drone equipment to Belarusian civilian communication infrastructure, RBC-Ukraine reports.

"I concluded that LTE modems on 'Shaheds' using such a flight path operate with Belarusian mobile communication base stations," Serhii "Flash" noted.

He added that the version about direct control via Belarusian MESH points is unlikely, as "communication points operate much further than the border."

As previously reported by the Center for Countering Disinformation, Russia launches jet drones at Kyiv in waves. The main goal of this enemy tactic is to exhaust the air defense system and paralyze the capital's life with constant alarms.

In addition, in recent weeks, the number of jet "Shaheds" that Russia launches at Ukraine per month has sharply increased. Russia launches jet drones at Ukraine almost directly from the conveyor belt, even without prolonged storage in warehouses.
