Left turn banned at one of the busiest intersections in Minsk's Kamennaya Horka
In Kamennaya Horka, the traffic management scheme has been changed at the intersection of Labanka, Prytytskaha, and Kuntsevshchyna streets. This decision was made to improve the safety and throughput of the intersection, and also taking into account the future opening of the bridge between Ratamskaya and Kalesnikava streets.
A left turn from Labanka Street onto Prytytskaha Street towards the Minsk Ring Road (MKAD) is now prohibited. This restriction applies to all types of transport except public transport.
To get in the desired direction, drivers can use several alternative routes: via Mazurava Street towards the MKAD, make a U-turn on Kuntsevshchyna Street and turn right onto Prytytskaha, drive via Kuntsevshchyna and Kazimirauskaya with an exit right onto the MKAD, or via Adzintsova and Skrypnikava streets with a left turn onto Prytytskaha.
The State Automobile Inspectorate urges drivers to take into account the new rules when planning their routes.
