Zelenskyy announced he set the task to launch a thousand drones per day at Russia

On Friday, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that he had set the Ukrainian military the task of launching a thousand drones per day at Russia.
«Today [on Friday], I held a meeting of the Staff. The main thing is to maximize the production of our weapons for defense against Russian strikes on Ukraine. The main thing is our defense against jet 'Shaheds' and to make our long-range strikes on Russia even more frequent. The task is a thousand drones for long-range 'sanctions' per day against Russia. Currently, it's an average of 300 plus of our long-range 'sanctions'; it should be more,» Zelenskyy stated.
Zelenskyy added that «the goal is completely concrete» and Ukraine «will accomplish this task.»
In early July, Zelenskyy noted in an interview with the Financial Times that the key phase of the war had shifted from land and sea to air, and expressed the opinion that precisely the «battle in the sky» would determine the outcome of the conflict, «Meduza» recalls.
«If not a hundred, but a thousand drones fly towards Moscow, he [Vladimir Putin] will understand. If he starts to feel it personally, if he starts to see it with his own eyes… advisors will persuade him to move somewhere beyond the Urals. The further Putin is from Moscow, the closer the end of the war will be,» Zelenskyy said.
