Resident of Pinsk collected a harvest of poppy straw in a field in Luninets district
Drug control officers in Pinsk detained a 58-year-old local resident, from whom more than 80 grams of dried poppy straw were found.
The man was detained by officers of the drug control and anti-human trafficking department of the Pinsk District Department of Internal Affairs. During a personal search, a narcotic substance of plant origin was found and confiscated from him.
The detainee stated that he found the poppy straw in a field in the Luninets district, brought it to Pinsk, and planned to use it for his own needs.
Investigators opened a criminal case for illegal trafficking of narcotic drugs.
