Passenger Dies On Board Belavia Flight from Egypt
Belavia charter flight B2 8148, flying from Sharm el-Sheikh to the Belarusian capital, was forced to change its route and land in Turkey. The reason was a sharp deterioration in the health of one of the passengers.

On the evening of August 24, at 23:30, Belavia charter flight B2 8148 Sharm el-Sheikh — Minsk made an emergency landing at Ankara Airport (Turkey) due to a passenger's poor health.
The crew took measures to provide assistance on board, the airline reports. Flight attendants announced over the loudspeaker that medical assistance was required. Two doctors responded to the call. The passenger underwent cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
The aircraft commander decided to perform an emergency landing to promptly transfer the passenger to medics.
Despite all efforts, the passenger's life could not be saved.
After completing the necessary procedures and refueling, the plane departed from Ankara to Minsk at 02:50 on August 25 and landed in Minsk at 07:42.
