According to official data, by the end of the first half of 2026, the share of Belarusian goods in stores was 54.6% (the indicator increased by 0.1 percentage points). However, according to the trade development plan, the indicator must reach 58% by the end of the year.
The Belarusian food security doctrine, however, envisages an optimal level of 80-85% for its own products.
According to the Ministry of Trade, such an approach will stimulate the sale of domestic goods.
