Political prisoner Maksim Urbanovich released
He spent a year and a half behind bars.
Political prisoner Maksim Urbanovich has been released, Belsat reports.
Maksim was sentenced to a year and a half in prison on charges of organizing and preparing actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them – Article 342 of the Criminal Code.
On April 2, 2025, security forces broke into the apartment rented by Maksim Urbanovich. After the search, Maksim was taken for questioning to the Investigative Committee, and from there to the pre-trial detention center.
Maksim is the brother of Dzianis Urbanovich, who is fighting in Ukraine.
