"We lay it on conscience!" What Vadim Galygin is up to
Belarusian showman Vadim Galygin feels like a fish in water in Russia. He now hosts major projects on Russian television, stars in a series with an ambiguous title, and plans to honor the memory of Russian occupiers.

In early August, filming began in Russia for a new series "Kladzyom na sumlenne!" (We lay it on conscience!) for the TNT channel. This is a story about young men Sasha and Vadik, who travel to the Russian backwoods to undergo practical training in road surfacing. There, they encounter a harsh male collective — it seems the plot will be built precisely on the interaction between these recent students and that collective.
One of the main roles was given to Belarusian Vadim Galygin. It is said that the role was specifically written for him. The project is produced by the Russian company "Vzor", where Galygin is one of the co-owners. He registered the company in April 2026 along with former Russian comedian Alexander Turkin and Vladimir Mikulich, a producer originally from Belarus.
And in October, an animated film will be released in which Galygin lent his voice to one of the characters — "The Adventures of a Mammoth Calf. In Search of Mom." This is a reinterpretation of the famous Soviet tale about a mammoth calf, but it looks like the film will be quite different in character.
Judging by the trailer, Galygin voices the so-called MC Tupik — a rapper chick. When the mammoth calf gets lost and is left without a mother, Tupik drags him to an African talent show where he himself wants to perform. And since it's a rapper role, Galygin tried rapping for the voice-over.
The showman often hosts programs on Russian channels but also visits Belarus. For example, he was in Minsk in mid-July 2026, when Aryna Sabalenka came there for the opening of new tennis courts. Galygin attended that opening and posted photos with former tennis player Max Mirnyi and former footballer Dmitry Baga.
He also has other ties to sports — Galygin has been associated with the "Art-Stars" team for several years. Well-known Belarusians and professional footballers whose time has passed play there together.
Vadim does not forget about charity — though, in his case, it is partly directed towards Russian servicemen. He is the vice-president of the international society "Fishermen U Hunters". On May 19, 2026, this society organized a concert by Alexander Rosenbaum, a resident of this society and a supporter of the war in Ukraine, who is under personal Ukrainian sanctions. The concert brought together 1800 teenagers, including Suvorov cadets and children of Russian servicemen who are waging an aggressive war in Ukraine.
And in June 2026, the Belarusian announced that he was preparing a project about Russian soldiers. Galygin wants to collect the memories of Russian servicemen from letters, notes, and diaries — as he explained to journalists, "the soul demands it so." Also, a series "The Other Side of the Coin" about Russian warriors is being prepared for release — Galygin is listed there as one of the general producers.
As for his personal life, a few months ago Vadim's third son was born, and the baby was named Luka. Galygin also has an adult daughter, Taisiya, who gave him a grandson in 2025.
Vadim rarely sings, but by May 9, 2026, he released a new track titled "Tanka". In the chorus, from the perspective of a tank driver, he addresses a girl in a letter, asking her to wait for him, and the letter is allegedly written in a burning tank, with "armor dripping onto the lines." The song, which was clearly intended to be a war song, sounds strange.
