Bear attacked a tent camp with tourists in Altai and mauled a girl
Before this, the predator dragged its victim into the forest.
According to SHOT data, the tragedy occurred at a base in the village of Artibash, Turochaksky district. There, 29-year-old Snezhana from Novosibirsk was vacationing with her fiancé.
Around one in the morning, a bear attacked their tent; it dragged and mauled the girl in front of her boyfriend. People tried to scare the predator away, but without success.
According to preliminary information, the deceased worked as a secretary in the Arbitration Court of the Novosibirsk Region.
All tourists and local residents are urged to be careful.
