Minsk "Dinamo", having lost the first match to Portuguese "Braga" 0:1, was obliged to win today, but failed to do so.
In the first half, the Minsk team did not manage a single shot on target, in the second half they played a little more actively, but still failed to score.
As a result, the match ended with zeroes on the scoreboard, meaning an overall victory for "Braga".
"ML Vitebsk" played their return match against Bosnian "Borac" from Banja Luka in the Conference League. Most of the match was played with the Vitebsk team having the advantage. The champions of Belarus increased pressure towards the end of both halves, and this paid off twice.
Before the first break, Denilho Cleonise scored against "Borac". The 1:0 score did not change until the end of the second half.
Since "ML Vitebsk" lost the first game, the referee awarded extra time. In the first fifteen minutes, "Borac" equalized in the game, but in the final minutes of extra time, Artem Koncevoy again put "ML Vitebsk" ahead.
Regular time ended with a score of 2:1, and a penalty shootout was set to determine the winner of the two-legged tie. In it, ML "Vitebsk" players Silas Gnakpa and Kiryl Homanau failed to convert two shots, while the opponent executed all their attempts accurately.
