Netherlands national football team appointed a foreigner as head coach
Legendary Catalan footballer, Barcelona star Xavi became the head coach of the Netherlands national team.

The contract with the 46‑year‑old specialist is valid until the summer of 2030, when the World Cup will take place.
Xavi replaced Ronald Koeman in this position, who left his post after the World Cup in North America, where «The Oranje» were eliminated in the Round of 16, losing to Morocco on penalties.
The last place of work for the Catalan was «Barcelona», which he left in 2024.
