As a result of the attack, seven plant workers were killed, and 21 more people were injured. At the moment of the strike, employees were heading to a shelter after an air raid alert was announced.

After the attack, the operation of Zaporizhstal had to be completely stopped. Energy facilities and infrastructure, as well as the main and auxiliary capacities of coke and blast furnace production, were damaged at the enterprise.

Specialists are currently assessing the extent of the damage and determining when and to what extent the plant's operations can be restored. Simultaneously, necessary emergency repair work is being carried out.

Other Metinvest production sites in Zaporizhzhia continue to operate, but at reduced capacities.

Earlier, during a massive missile attack on the night of August 5, large warehouse and production facilities in Kyiv and Kyiv region were damaged or destroyed, including Rozetka's warehouse infrastructure, Epicenter complexes, and Nova Poshta's sorting center.
