Main building of the National Art Museum to be solemnly closed for reconstruction
The museum invites you to a special event.
August 10 will be the last day of operation for the main building of the National Art Museum of Belarus before closing for reconstruction. In this regard, the staff has prepared a special program and a unique ticket design.
Events will begin at 12:00. An excursion through the exposition of the Russian collection will take place then.
At 17:00, the performance "Conservation of the main building's air" is scheduled. Guests are encouraged to bring empty glasses to preserve the air as a keepsake.
On the last day before closing, the main building of the National Art Museum will be open from 11:00 to 19:00.
The reconstruction is planned to be completed in 2027. During this time, they intend to restore the historical appearance, including the interior stucco.
