American singer Ariana Grande will take a break and temporarily withdraw from public life after completing her Eternal Sunshine tour. Her representative told People magazine about this.

According to him, in recent years, the constant attention to the singer and incessant discussions about her appearance have become too difficult for her.

"She is looking forward to the end of the tour and wants to finish it on a high note — remaining healthy and happy. After that, she will have a well-deserved break from work involving public performances and appearances, which have been the subject of endless and incessant discussions," the publication quotes the singer's representative.

Grande also declined to participate in the London production of the musical "Sunday in the Park with George". However, there is no talk of ending her career: she will perform all planned concerts, after which she will take a break.

The reason for such attention in recent years was not only the singer's creativity but also her appearance. Social media and tabloids regularly discussed that Grande had lost a lot of weight, leading to numerous speculations about her physical and mental health.

The singer has repeatedly asked people not to comment on her appearance. In 2023, she addressed those who compared her new photos with old ones and claimed she looked healthier before. Grande responded that it was precisely during that period that she was going through one of the most difficult phases of her life: taking many antidepressants, consuming alcohol, eating poorly, and having health issues. She urged people not to draw conclusions about a person's health based solely on their appearance.

A new wave of such discussions arose after the release of the music video for the song "Petal" from the eponymous album, which was released on July 31.

33-year-old Ariana Grande is one of the most famous pop singers of today. She was born in the American state of Florida and first gained fame as an actress in the teenage series "Victorious" and "Sam & Cat". Music brought her global recognition: since 2013, Grande has released seven studio albums and received three Grammy Awards.

However, Grande will not disappear from the public sphere immediately. On November 25, the comedy "Focker-in-Law" will premiere — a new installment in the "Meet the Parents" franchise, where the singer plays one of the roles alongside Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro.
