In her farewell address, Margarita Vorykhava called her work in the UTC
"one of the most difficult and important works in her life, done together with people she deeply respects: those who went through arrests, exile, and losses, but did not stop believing in a free Belarus."
She stated that she is proud of "what they created together: trainings, educational programs, scholarships, assistance platforms, and support communities."
Vorykhava expressed gratitude to her colleagues in the Cabinet, the Coordination Council, and the organizations she worked with, and expressed confidence that "the movement remains alive only when it renews itself and makes space for those who today most directly live in the Belarusian reality."
She herself now intends to "take on a broader task — to build the organizational and technological foundations that will be needed by Belarusian democratic forces in the coming years."
After Margarita Vorykhava's departure, her first deputy, Aliaksei Hrakhouski, will perform the duties of the representative for youth policy. He will perform these duties until a new representative for youth policy is appointed. The candidate for this position will be proposed by the Coordination Council, after which it will be approved by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, the head of the United Transitional Cabinet.
