In Grodno, a man took products left by a courier for his neighbor
A local resident contacted the Grodno police reporting the theft of delivered food. It turned out that his mother, who is abroad, ordered groceries for him with delivery, but they never reached the addressee.

The courier delivered the order late in the evening and, according to the instructions given to him, left the package near the entrance door on the stairwell of an apartment building. However, in the morning, the recipient did not find his order. After realizing the groceries were gone, he first contacted the courier, and then reported it to the police.
The amount of damages incurred was almost 320 rubles.
During operational-investigative measures, criminal investigation officers questioned the residents of the building and quickly identified the suspect. He turned out to be the 43-year-old unemployed neighbor of the victim.
According to police information, around 11:00 PM, the man noticed a strange package near the door and decided to take it for himself. He was detained by patrol and guard service officers, and the stolen products were confiscated.
A criminal case has been initiated on the fact of theft. The man could face up to three years in prison.
