The Italian Ministry of Defense offered a position to former Ukrainian Minister Mykhailo Fedorov. Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto revealed this in an interview with La Repubblica.
"I called him the day after his dismissal and said: do you want to come to Rome and work with me as an advisor?" — said Guido Crosetto.
According to the Italian minister, Fedorov perceived the offer as "a demonstration of respect and friendship."
Crosetto called him one of the individuals who rewrote the rules of the game on the battlefield thanks to the implementation of new technologies.
Fedorov was dismissed from the post of Minister of Defense in July. He had held the position of Minister of Defense since January 2026.
