Donald Trump stated in an interview with Fox News that he considers it possible to end the conflict in Ukraine before the end of his presidential term.
The next presidential elections in the US will take place in two years, in November 2028, and his term will officially end in January 2029 with the inauguration of the newly elected president.
Earlier, Donald Trump named several ultimate deadlines for ending the war in Ukraine.
When Joe Biden was president, Trump claimed he could end the conflict in 24 hours. In early spring this year, May was named as the deadline, then the deadline was July 4th — US Independence Day, and even the midterm congressional elections, which are scheduled for early November this year.
