Lukashenka: In Belarus, there is a strong need to persistently switch to pellet heating, gas — only as a reserve
In Belarus, it is necessary to persistently switch to pellet heating, and use natural gas and other types of fuel only as a reserve. Aliaksandr Lukashenka stated this during a working trip to Shklov district, where he visited a reconstructed agro-service facility, writes BelTA.

He was informed that the agro-service boiler house operates on wood pellets.
«Correct. Gradually, persistently, we need to switch to heating with pellets, firewood, and other alternatives. Now, Poles have sky-high prices for pellets. They don't buy (this product in Belarus). Well, as you wish. Pellets are needed here. We need to heat with them in Belarus,» he said.
He emphasized that Belarus has a large amount of local wood raw material, which must be efficiently processed and utilized.
«We know how to do this. We have enough factories. Therefore, pellets and once again pellets. Natural gas or another fuel source — only as a reserve,» summarized Aliaksandr Lukashenka.
