"You are in Belarus with us!" — "I f*cked your mother." Guest from Altai didn't like the remark about a cigarette butt thrown in central Minsk
A conflict in the center of Minsk over a cigarette butt thrown on the sidewalk, which escalated into insults, is being discussed on TikTok. Young musician Lev Belorusov made a remark to a man about littering and in response received aggression and insults.

The incident, which young Belarusian performer Lev Belorusov captured on video, occurred at a pedestrian crossing in Nyamiha.
As the guy recounts, the man, whom he described as "non-Russian," first flicked cigarette ash onto his shoes, and then threw the cigarette butt directly onto the sidewalk, which a street cleaner had literally just cleaned minutes before.
Lev's initial polite remark: "Brother, you are in Belarus with us. Please pick it up, it's not customary here," — provoked an immediate and aggressive reaction.
The man's companion, an older woman, immediately retorted: "How many of them are lying around, cigarette butts, damn it!" Her argument was that everyone litters. Lev Belorusov countered: "Then pick it up and throw it away!"

When the guy loudly demanded that she pick up and throw away the cigarette butt, the man himself joined the conflict, responding with an insult: "I f*cked your mother." The woman tried to lead her aggressive companion away so he wouldn't cause more trouble.
The man's identity has been identified with a high degree of probability as a native of the Altai Krai of the Russian Federation.
"We won't let our Belarus be trashed"
The video on TikTok garnered thousands of comments, the vast majority of which were in support of the author. Users thanked the guy for his civic stance and were outraged by the behavior of the guest of the capital.
"Well done!!! This cannot be ignored!", "Guy, you're super, we won't let them trash our Belarus," "If we have such youth, then I am calm about my old age," "Key words: "It's not customary here," — users write in the comments.
Many noted that a similar manner of behavior from visitors is becoming increasingly noticeable. "It's even worse in our store, so many of them have appeared, especially in Baravliany, insults from everyone," — one user shared.
The author of the video himself, Lev Belorusov, urged in the comments: "Let's appreciate the work of those who make our city cleaner."
