Homemade revolver with ammunition found at Kobryn pensioner's
In Kobryn, security forces found unregistered firearms, ammunition, and gunpowder with a 71-year-old local resident, reports the Brest Regional Executive Committee's Internal Affairs Directorate.

According to police information, during the inspection of an outbuilding, they found a homemade revolver, which, according to expert examination results, was deemed suitable for firing, as well as 75 pistol cartridges, over 90 sporting and hunting cartridges, and over 300 grams of industrially produced gunpowder.
The pensioner explained that he made the revolver himself back in the early 1990s when he worked at an auto repair plant that produced spare parts. All these items, according to him, were stored in a utility room for several decades.
A criminal case was initiated against the man for illegal storage of firearms, ammunition, and explosives. Such actions are punishable by criminal liability, including imprisonment for a term of up to twelve years with confiscation of property.
