The number of customers of city baths is growing in Minsk
According to data from the "City Baths" enterprise, from January to May 2026, the general departments of these establishments were visited by 178,342 people. For the same period last year, there were 173,363 visitors, which is almost 5,000 fewer, writes the "Minsk-News" agency.

Anatol Marchenko, the director of the enterprise, noted that about 80% of the increase was due to the expansion of the network. In September 2025, the Malinauka bath and wellness complex on Kosmonavtov Street became part of the enterprise. Another approximately 20% of the growth is attributed to the cool weather in the first five months of the year and the later start of the dacha season.
At the same time, some regular visitors, who primarily came for the swimming pool, moved to new wellness complexes.
As noted by the enterprise, in spring and summer, the number of visits traditionally decreases by 25-30% compared to autumn and winter. This is influenced by the vacation season, dacha chores, and school holidays.
During the summer period, some baths operate on a reduced schedule. The bath in the Sokol microdistrict was the first to switch to this mode. At the same time, the bath and wellness complexes "Laziya," "Sukharava," "Laziya No. 1," and the 7th bath continue to operate almost without changes. Additionally, the establishments temporarily close during planned hot water outages, when cosmetic repairs are carried out.
In total, the "City Baths" enterprise includes 12 public baths.
