Minsk resident found a packaging clip in bread
“Who else has encountered such surprises?” the woman asked.
A resident of the capital published a photo on the internet of a piece of bread, inside which was a packaging clip. According to the woman, she found it in the product itself. The sliced bread, which the Minsk resident bought in one of the Dana Mall stores, turned out to have a "surprise", Minsk-News writes.
“One of my favorites, and here's a surprise, and it was inside and almost invisible. Who else has encountered such surprises? "Minskkhlebprom", why are you letting us down like this? And do children also eat your bread?” a disappointed customer addressed the enterprise.
The post was seen by employees of the hygiene and epidemiology center of the Kastrychnitski district, who inspected the bakery.
Specifically, on June 12, specialists evaluated the personnel's adherence to sanitary norms and rules during the production and packaging of bakery products.
— The facts stated in the appeal were confirmed. According to the technological process, product packaging followed by clipping with a metal-plastic tape is the final stage of production. In case of a skip (absence of packaging with bread in the cell of the packaging machine), the device automatically "snaps" the clip.
A free empty clip can fall onto the conveyor belt of sliced bread or onto the working surface where bread is packed into bags. And after the completion of the production process, only visual control of the packaged products is carried out; metal detection is not provided. This means that the presence of a piece of a metal-plastic clip is a violation of the technological process on the packaging line. To prevent this, the enterprise is recommended to strengthen production control at the product packaging stage.
