US Lifts Naval Blockade of Iran
The US Armed Forces announced that they have stopped the naval blockade of Iran. As reported by the US Central Command, American forces no longer impede the movement of commercial and military vessels heading to or departing from Iranian ports in the waters of the Persian and Gulf of Oman.
This step is taken as part of a peace agreement between Washington and Tehran, which was reached on June 15 with the mediation of Pakistan.
Despite the full lifting of restrictions and the restoration of freedom of navigation, America reserves the right to forceful control.
US warships will remain in the region to ensure that all points of the concluded peace agreement are strictly adhered to by both sides, the message states.
