Belarusian Tour Operators Urgently Reroute Bus Trips to Georgia — Travel Time Increases by 4‑5 Hours
After a drone hit a tourist bus with Belarusians in the Bryansk region, Belarusian tourists started to panic. This was because people usually traveled to Georgia for vacation along the same route. Tour operators are now offering a safer alternative.

One of the first to announce the changes on TikTok was Dzmitry Milavanash, director of «Slavia Tour». His company sent tourists to Georgia on a new route last night:
— All our routes have been adjusted in accordance with the recommendations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus. Already today, our bus returning from Georgia, after Voronezh, turned in a different direction. It bypassed the Bryansk region. And all subsequent routes are also adjusted and go through the Smolensk and Tula regions. Accordingly, they then reach Voronezh, and from there follow the M4 highway to Verkhny Lars.
Dzmitry noted that due to this, travel time increases by an average of 4-5 hours.
A journalist from «Nasha Niva», posing as a tourist, contacted several Belarusian tour operators and everywhere he was confirmed that the route to Georgia had been urgently re-routed. Belarusians are now offered to travel through the Mogilev region to the Smolensk region.
For now, they say that this will not affect the cost.
