In Vitebsk, a seven-year-old boy fell from a window while his parents were sleeping drunk
In Vitebsk, the local prosecutor's office began investigating the case of a seven-year-old boy with psychophysical developmental features, who sustained serious injuries due to his parents' negligence.

In late May 2026, the child was admitted to the regional children's clinical hospital in critical condition. He was diagnosed with fractures of the femur and ulna, as well as numerous bruises and injuries across his body.
The inspection revealed that the incident occurred during the day in the apartment when the boy was at home with his father and mother. At that moment, both parents were sleeping in a state of severe alcoholic intoxication. The child managed to open the window on his own and fell out. After the fall, neighbors found him on the street and called an ambulance.
The inspection also found that a few days prior, the boy had already left the house unsupervised and was found by strangers.
It is reported that the family had problems with child supervision and adequate safety conditions. In connection with this, the prosecutor's office took measures to protect the child's rights, and the issue of depriving the parents of their parental rights is being considered.
