Lukashenka admitted that Russia did not achieve its goals in Ukraine. He explained this by saying that Putin was deceived by the Vatican and the Jewish lobby
In an interview with Al Arabiya TV channel, Alexander Lukashenka presented his original version of why the war in Ukraine, unleashed by Russia in February 2022 with his support, did not end in a quick victory for Russia. It turns out that the AFU (Armed Forces of Ukraine) had nothing to do with it; other hostile forces simply interfered, BelTA writes .
Lukashenka during the interview
“During the hostilities [at the beginning of the war], not only I, but everyone in the world understood that the war would quickly end with a Russian victory. This was primarily due to the fact that the Russians were in Kyiv. But then certain politicians and forces asked Putin to stop, withdraw troops from Kyiv, and conclude a peace agreement.
Seeing such a situation and the fact that many people were dying, and that the war, let's be frank, was not going quite according to the script that was written, Putin agreed and withdrew his advanced units from Kyiv. Before this withdrawal, everyone understood that Ukraine's days were numbered,” Lukashenka tells the Arab journalist.
But evil forces only perfidiously exploited Putin's peacefulness:
“Once again, probably — I know — these forces deceived him. It was the Vatican. And, surprisingly, the Jewish lobby, the Israelis. They declared on behalf of Zelensky: 'That's it, we are going for peace, we agree.' Well, and others.”
If Putin had not been deceived and had continued the offensive, then, Alexander Lukashenka is convinced, “neither Zelensky nor anyone else would have remained there.” And he is not alone in this opinion; the leadership of the Belarusian army also agrees with him in this assessment. However, it turned out as it turned out:
“Then the war dragged on. The war is now in its fifth year, no one has achieved their goals.”
Although Russia, according to Lukashenka, still looks more convincing, so its victory is ahead.
