"Carolina Hurricanes" defeated "Vegas Golden Knights" 3:0 on the road in the sixth game of the series and won the series 4:2.

"Carolina" won the Stanley Cup for the second time in history. The club first won the main trophy of the National Hockey League in 2006.
The club was originally founded in 1979 in Hartford (Connecticut) and was then called the "Hartford Whalers". The "Whalers" moved to Raleigh (North Carolina) in 1997.
